Things you should know before applying to Serenity:
Have I been detoxed? Serenity is not a detoxification facility. We require that every potential client be free of alcohol and drugs before entering the facility for treatment. This is for the safety of the client and the facility as a whole.
Are my responsibilities being met before entering a 28 day facility? Serenity requests that all legal, medical and other appointments be rescheduled or scheduled for after the estimated discharge date.
We are a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy based facility and introduce the 12-step model of treatment.
There are no off site visits.
Smoking is allowed. Cigarettes are the responsibility of the client, not the facility. Those who smoke are only allowed to do so on the allotted break.
