The Stout Street Foundation offers several options for addiction rehabilitation. Please read below to find out about our programs.



 



 





Medical Admissions Criteria:

If you have a medical condition that requires medication, the following will be considered:

  • The medical condition.
  • The type of medication.
  • How the medication changes your thinking.
  • Does the medication impair your ability to work a job?
  • What does the medication cost?
  • Doctor’s order declaring you fit to work normal labor jobs.

Mental Health Conditions:

  • If you are on any psychotropic medication, you MUST be medically detoxed.
  • A full mental health evaluation with a doctor’s order releasing and clearing you of your psychotropic medication is a requirement for admission.

Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV):

  • How long you have you had the virus?
  • Current T-Cell count (800 or better for consideration)
  • What medical treatments are necessary?
  • What medications are necessary?
  • How does the medication change your thinking?
  • What does the medication cost?
  • Doctor’s order declaring you fit to work normal labor jobs.

Diabetes:

  • Is your diabetes controlled by diet, pills or injectable insulin?
  • Medical conditions as a result of diabetes (open sores, retinopathy, neuropathy, nephropathy)?
  • Doctor’s order declaring you fit to work normal labor jobs.

Respiratory Illness and allergies:

  • What type of condition do you have?
  • What type and what is the extent of allergies or respiratory illness you have?
  • What type of medication do you take?
  • What type of treatment do you need?
  • What does the medication cost?
  • Doctor’s order declaring you fit to work normal labor jobs

Past or present medical issues, surgeries, hospitalizations, diagnoses and lifting limitations:

  • What type and extent of past or present medical issues do you have?
  • How will they effect the overall treatment at the Stout Street Foundation?
  • What medical treatments or medication will you need?
  • Doctor’s order declaring you fit to work normal labor jobs.
